The above is my name written in “Self portrait as a font”. Paul Chan designed fonts that express more than simple letters and maybe more than you want them to say.
“What is it like to write like me? You don’t even know me. Lowercase letters are phrases I think I say in conversations. Uppercase letters are parenthetical comments based on what I think I say in conversations and common mistakes I make when writing. Numbers are names of friends, family, and former lovers. Punctuations are incidental words I use to feign interest, confusion, or indifference.”

A school near Washington shows that kids enjoy learning if they get more responsibility about their curriculum. The school has no compulsory tests, exams or grades. There are no age groups. And the kids are NO dummies. Video on YouTube
